A refreshing summer drink.

Ingredients

Units
  • 4 peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and ground cloves, optional
  • 4 cups milk, I used whole
  • 1/4 cup honey or sweetener of choice to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, place the peaches with the spices and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Let cool.

  2. In a blender, place milk, cooked peaches, and honey.

  3. Blend for 2 minutes until completely incorporated.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness.
  5. Serve cold.

Notes

Traditionally in my family, we used raw, and very ripe peaches. I prefer to cook the peaches with spices to improve the flavor and prevent the drink from changing color.
