Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 large ripe tomato (or 2 medium-sized)
  • 2 cups grated pizza cheese (a mix of Havarti and Mozzarella)
  • 1 Sweet Banana or Hungarian pepper
  • 1 pizza crust
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat one tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat in a medium non-stick skillet. Add ground beef, sauté for 2-3 minutes, stir and simmer—season with salt and pepper.
  2. Thinly slice the onion.
  3. Cut tomato in 4. Remove seeds and slice, season.
  4. Cut the pepper into small cubes and place in a bowl, cover with oil and season with salt.
  5. Prepare pizza crusts according to the instructions in the package. In this case, heat the oven to 375F or 190C. Bake the crusts directly on the grill for 3 minutes. Place the crusts on a baking pan and add the toppings.
  6. Add cheese, tomatoes, ground beef, and onion, and bake for 4-6 minutes until golden.
