This Pineapple Sorbet Champagne Float is a must for the holidays in my family, for Christmas and New Year we always toast with this drink in hand, the truth this doesn’t need a recipe, it is only pineapple ice cream, in Chile is generally sorbet or sherbet. Serve in frosted glasses, fill with champagne and serve immediately.
For children, a version with Sprite or Canada Dry is made. You can also add fresh pineapple or from a can (crushed pineapple), but I prefer one with just ice cream.
Here in the US, the HEB brand in Texas has a very good pineapple sorbet, or else I buy Haagen Dazs pineapple and coconut it tastes like Piña Colada, delicious.
